    Dear Mr. Trump:

I have been watching the early morning news and all the media can discuss is that idiot Ted Cruz and his refusal to give you a direct endorsement. If it is true you knew what Cruz was going to say hours before he spoke. . .why the heck did you and other convention leaders allow him to make an appearance? Was this a matter of transparency. . .a respect for one's opinion (First Amendment) or did you guy's just shoot yourself in the foot again?

The majority of the media is pro Clinton and anti Trump. . .so why in the name of God. . .would you knowingly allow this to happen at such an important moment? This moron's (Cruz) speech was nothing special, but it still overshadowed the great speeches given by your son Eric and your running mate Mike Pence! I have and am now telling you again. . .Ted Cruz is corrupt! Not because he is unwilling to endorse you, but because of his affiliation with Goldman Sachs and the Bush's! I also believe the Bush's knew the stunt Cruz was going to pull last night before it happened! There Good Old'Boy establishment is in danger and I believe they would rather have Hillary win then you. What I want to know is if Ted Cruz is related somehow to Luis Ivan Cruz the former professional baseball player. . .the answer to the question is very important!

As for Eric's speech it was awesome! His speech should be the one (along with Pence's) dominating the airwaves this morning not the sniveling little creepy piece of work called Ted Cruz!

Eric spoke with such Heart last night! The way he described the man that you are. . .what you mean to him. . .and the type of leader you'll make for this country was spoken with such sincerity! In addition to his description of doing for others as he referenced his nonprofit organization made my soul smile. He is a great, compassionate and smart young man. . .he is uniquely special!

As for Mike Pence. . .he did a phenomenal job last night! Before this election I had never heard of Mike Pence before. Between the 60 Minutes interview and last night's speech. . .I love this guy! He's solid, smart and actually very witty at times. . .he is a remarkable Statesman from everything I've learned thus far! Pence will be an asset to your candidacy and will serve you well as your number two in charge in the White House!

    Sincerely,

    Ms. Laura L. Johnson

Obama and Hillary operate above the Law against their very pledge of office (to the American people) to protect our laws and Great Country. Ted Cruz broke his pledge to support/endorse the Republican Nominee, Donald Trump, and put himself above his Party, and the voice/will of the people. End of Story - End of Ted.

Donald Trump the real People's Champion! May God continue to Bless him and his Family!

Anonymous - I agree with all you say about Cruz. I feel if he truly cared about the Country and the Constitution, he could have merely said he signed a pledge to support the nominee and he would live up to that pledge. Instead he was thinking of himself and running for President in 2020. If Hillary gets in, I believe she will rip the Constitution to shreds and we may never see another election in this Country.

I also want to add that most of the time that Cruz has been a Senator, he has been running for the office of President. Now he will continue to do more of the same. Here are some questions that people need to ask themselves: Who is funding all this? Why should the American people pay him a salary when all he does is run for office and grand stand with no results just to make a name for himself? How can he call himself a Christian when he really does not walk the talk? How can he say he is for the Constitution when he really does not walk that talk either (i.e. stealing delegates from others and sending out illegal flyers just to earn votes). There are a whole list of questions that one could ask and I think those of us with common sense know the answers. What a disgrace this man is to the Republican Party.

Vote Trump - someone that is honest and will put the Country first.

For Mrs. Johnson: Trump handed Cruz the rope (the opportunity & air-time) which Cruz could have used that "rope" as a lifeline to improve his career. Instead he chose to use the "rope" to hang himself.

The mood on Twitter re Cruz is the exact opposite of the talking heads on TV. They always obsess in the negative, it's what they do. The majority on Twitter, however, say they now see Cruz for what he really is.

So it was actually a positive thing letting Cruz speak, rather than a negative.

You should follow on Twitter, one of the best pro-Trump twitter feeds, for election analysis & commentary. Washington Post earlier in the week published an article re the 10 most independent influential social media people who have helped Trump's rise in the election process. (Bill Mitchell of NC) was just one of those interviewed. Shockingly, WaPo actually did a good job on that, no Trump bashing.

      Dear Anonymous:

Thank you for your feedback! I can see your point about Ted using the rope to hang himself instead of honoring his pledge, but I'm still upset that it had to happen at the expense of Eric Trump and Mike Pence's speech! Ted Cruz became a dark cloud over the convention for a 24 hour news period and just wish it had not happened!

Thank you again for your perspectives in the matter.

      Sincerely,

      Ms. Laura L. Johnson
